Brewery Keeps the Beer Flowing to Supermarkets

Newham’s Skinner’s Brewery is continuing to supply bottled beers to supermarkets and shops across the UK which have remained open. This follows the news that off licences and licensed shops selling alcohol, including those within breweries, have been added to the list of essential retailers able to stay open.

Steve Skinner, founder of the award winning Skinner’s Brewery said that during this crisis, staff and clients are Skinner’s first concern and the team is adapting day by day to support everyone through the coming week and months.

Robust safety measures are in place to protect staff with strict measures implemented throughout the brewery and logistics network.

Steve said: “We’ve sold out of stock for the online shop. As soon as we are allowed to get back into our beloved brewery to start brewing again we will. We have never ever stopped in all our years. Stay safe and we will be back soon.

We're already dreaming of the day when the whole country hears: 'Go forth and party like you've never partied before. Drink pint after pint of your favourite Skinner's beer, hug everyone you see, dance, sing and laugh, and do not any under circumstances leave the pub for at least a week’.

“Until that time, hold on in there. We're all in this together and we won't be leaving anyone behind. The British public love their local pubs and neighbourhood restaurants, and can't wait to return.”

Steve added that the head office is currently closed, including phone lines so anyone who needs to get in touch should email info@skinnersbrewery.com.
